Christina Hendricks has been an American actor for seven seasons. Her most recognizable role was as Joan Holloway, in AMC's dramatic period drama Mad Men. Along with receiving critical appreciation, her performance in the series earned her six Emmy Award nominations under the best supporting actress category. In her career spanning nearly twenty years, she's well-known for her role in the Kevin Hill comedy Kevin Hill series Another Period Crime Drama Tin Star comedy crime Good Girls. Films in which she has been praised for her performance as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. Additionally, she's lent her voice in animation films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Before that, she was working as a model and kept it going for a long time before she made her acting debut on television with the anthology show Undressed in 1999. She played her first real part as a character in Beggars and Choosers. Her part in Firefly which is a classic film that was also highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, followed. In 2010, she was named one of the hottest women in the world and the Best-Looking Woman in America by Esquire magazine.
